Final programme released for Plastics Recyclers Annual Meeting 2019

Design for Recycling - where quality plastics recycling begins

The final programme has been released for the upcoming Plastics Recyclers Annual Meeting 2019, which will take place on November 21 & 22, at the Tangla Hotel in Brussels.

First day of the Annual Meeting will feature the PRE Working Group meetings, with open PET, HDPE/PP and LDPE sessions that will provide an overview of the most recent market trends and developments. Representatives from Klöckner Pentaplast, EFBWProcter & Gamble, Plastic Energy, Orkla, SP Global, Fraunhofer Institute and Recycling Technologies, among others, will share their views.

The main conference - Design for recycling, where quality plastics recycling begins - will take place on the second day. The opening session will look at the EU approach and global trends in recyclability, where Carlo Pettinelli, Director for Consumer, Environmental and Health Technologies from the European Commission, Christian Guellerin from L'École de design Nantes Atlantique and Kim Ragaert from the University of Ghent will participate.

The remaining sessions will further explore the concept of recyclability and its future, as well as its importance in sectors beyond packaging. Speakers from Ampacet, Avery Dennison, Nestlé, Constantia Flexibles, Unilever, Volvo Cars, CITEO, Tarkett and others are confirmed.
