European Commission’s Emmanuelle Maire to Keynote at Plastics Recycling Show Europe Conference

Confirmed speakers from major brands: Mars, Procter & Gamble, IKEA & Colgate Palmolive

Emmanuelle Maire, Head of Unit ‘Circular Economy, Sustainable Production and Consumption’, DG Environment, European Commission is to be the keynote speaker at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe’s conference at RAI Amsterdam, the Netherlands from 19-20 June 2024. She will join Ton Emans, President of Plastics Recyclers Europe for the conference’s opening keynote session examining The way forward for plastic recycling in Europe.

The comprehensive two-day programme taking place across two theatres will cover in depth all the key issues currently facing the plastic recycling value chain in Europe and beyond. Leading industry figures already confirmed to speak include:

Conference sessions will cover the latest political, legislative, market and technological developments in plastics recycling. In particular, the spotlight will be on the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), alongside dedicated sessions on measures to achieve recycled content targets and explore the latest advancements in chemical recycling.
