Waste is one of the four pillars of the partnership agreement concluded between Bulgaria and the European Commission for the period 2014-2020. The country and South-East Europe respectively are confronted with pressing challenges related to the environmentally friendly waste management.

Responding to the growing demand of eco-technologies and an interest in wider implementation of advanced know-how, 'Save the Planet' is a timely event. It will help business and municipalities to increase their investment activities in resource efficiency, landfill rehabilitation, construction of new modern facilities and infrastructure.

For 6th year in a row an Austrian Pavilion will be realized, including companies like KWS Krickl Waagen Systems, AUWA, IFE Aufbereitungstechnik, Komptech, EREMA and Starlinger & Co
They will introduce plastic recycling systems, well-proven technologies for mechanical-biological treatment of solid waste, biomass; conveyor and screening technologies, machines for processing bulky materials, board weighing and identification systems, etc.  

Hitachi Zosen Inova and Weiss A/S will provide visitors with the opportunity to get acquainted with their achievements in waste-to-energy.
Among the exhibitors are also the producers Herbold Meckesheim GmbH, Hybag Automationen AG and IGW srl.
